Performances time tested in front of dozens of live audiences, this one-hour live presentation is both educational and motivational. Jesse demonstrates his adapted style of piano and guitar playing, an acoustic guitar performance, a drum solo, his awesome bongo playing, and three full performances of Jesse’s original rock music by his band Leftstronger. Jesse loves speaking to children. He gets to do what he loves by teaching students a life lesson and your students enjoy a real rock band. This is so much better and different than a magic show, story teller or other typical assembly program. Program Format
In the interactive first half of a one hour presentation, Jesse Magee will explain his life growing up with cerebral palsy and severe vision loss and his physical, social and family challenges. Jesse will discuss performing with his band and shares how he maneuvers on a large stage. Jesse will then show the audience how he plays guitar upside down and performs an amazing drum solo.
In the second part of the presentation (approximately 30 minutes), enjoy the music of Leftstronger, Jesse’s original rock band. Jesse and his band will rock the house with a professional PA system and demonstrate his 4+octave vocal range and fronting talent in a fun, rockin’ way!
Room Requirements

What we provide
If the facility or venue where the program is to be held does not have a built in sound system or presentation materials, we will bring a Cordless microphone and other mics, PA/sound system, speakers, amps and instruments etc.

Jesse performs his program in his hometown of Baltimore, Maryland with his rock band accompanying him for the fee of $850 for one presentation and only $1500 for two presentations in one day. For out-of-town programs, Jesse’s and the band’s expenses (such as lodging, transportation and meal costs) must be covered, as well as his presentation fee. If the presentation is located more than a 30 mile driving distance of Eldersburg, Maryland, a .50 per mile driving fee will be charged. You may contact Rock-Able directly to inquire about a presentation or “lunch with Jesse and the Band” at your location.
Program Capacity
The maximum capacity for a performances is 500 attendees. If you have a small schoo/company (under 500 ), then you may need only one program however if you don’t have enough space, Jesse can do 2 progrsms (sometimes three) for larger organizations (500+) to ensure that all are able to participate.
Additional fees may apply for longer sessions.
Rescheduling
A fee of $25 will be charged if a school needs to change a confirmed booking date. Please confirm your dates and times before calling to make booking arrangements to avoid this additional fee. Occasionally, Jesse may have to reschedule a confirmed booking. If Jesse reschedules a confirmed booking, fees will be reduced by $50 for the inconvenience.
